Ami trained at Capri Cosmetology Institute and began her career in Madison, Wisconsin where she specialized in hair & makeup for film & television. Seven years later she opened two salons & spas, “Creating Waves Salon”, and, “Yellowstone Day Spa”, where she practiced advanced skincare, body treatments, & waxing. Ami brought her advanced skills to Geneva in 1999 where she opened “Designs by Mon Ami”. In 2004 she expanded her business and staff and opened One Salon & Bridal Company. Ami specializes in organic hair color, hair extensions, airbrush makeup, and is one of the top wedding stylists in the Chicago area and the United States.
